Low carbohydrate is the basis for a number of diet plans. There are several types (Atkins is the most famous, I think). I spent a lot of time reading several books and clinical studies on the subject. Low carb is a very controversial topic and everybody seems to have an opinion about it.

I am not following any of the "famous" diets - Atkins, South Beach, The Zone - I moved towards a dietary protocol closer but not the same as the Metabolic Diet.

It's been 20 days now. No more than 30gr carbs a day. And I am feeling VERY well.

For the time being I am keeping personal data (measurements, weight) private. But I am sharing the tested and tried recipes. :-)
